M [m²] = a x b
Area [m² = length a * length b
Example: How big is a plot with a length of 30m and a width of 15m?
M = 30m* 15m = 450m²
You can calculate the square metres by multiplying the width and length.
What if you know a side length and the area? Then you can easily calculate the missing side length:
a = M / b

a= 200m² / 45m = 4.44m
